Tracking a match is a sequence of single taps. For each point you record the serve result — ace, serve in, first fault, or double fault — and then how the point ended: winner, forced error, or unforced error. CourtTalent does the rest.

The scoring engine handles the formats junior and club tennis actually uses, including best-of-three sets, single-set formats, 10-point super tie-breaks, and the common junior format of best of 3 sets with a super tie-break in the third and No-Ad scoring, where any game reaching deuce is decided on the next point. A "deciding point" banner appears so nobody is caught out.

The moment the match ends you have a full statistical picture — nothing to type up afterwards.

During a live match, CourtTalent analyses the points you have logged so far alongside the player's and opponent's history and surfaces short, actionable tactical tips — refreshed as the match develops. Tips are suggestions to read between points, not instructions, and they are grounded only in the data you have recorded.

Scouting mode lets you chart a player you are not tracking as your own — a likely next-round opponent, for example. Scouting sessions use the same Parents, Coach, and Advanced modes, support step-by-step correction and undo while charting, and produce an AI scouting report summarising the opponent's patterns, strengths, weaknesses, and suggested tactics.

• Player profiles for each junior you track, with birth year, playing style, career stats, and a Coach-mode stroke breakdown. One profile can hold multiple players.
• Opponent profiles that build a head-to-head history automatically as you play the same opponents again.
• Tournament mode to group matches under an event and see how a whole weekend went.
• A saved match library where every match you start stays until you delete it — including live and draft matches, which you can resume from the last saved point.

Every match is private to your account by default. When you want to share one, you control how:

• A clean plain-text summary you can paste into a message or team chat.
• A PDF export of the match report.
• A tokenized public link that a coach, parent, or family member can open without creating an account — revocable at any time by changing the match's visibility.

Your match data is yours. Sign in with Google, Apple, or email and password. Row-Level Security is enforced on every table so no other account can read your data, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and changes to matches and profiles are written to an append-only audit log. You can export a full JSON bundle of your data or permanently delete your account and all associated matches from Settings.

Do I need to install an app?

No. CourtTalent runs in any mobile or desktop browser. There is nothing to download and no app store required. You do need a free account so your matches are saved to your profile.

Is CourtTalent free?

Yes. Match tracking, stats, match reports, player and opponent profiles, and sharing are all included at no cost.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Points are queued locally when your court-side signal drops and sync automatically once the connection returns, so an unreliable club Wi-Fi never costs you a match.

What is the difference between Parents, Coach, and Advanced mode?

Parents mode captures point outcomes only, so it is fast enough to keep up while watching. Coach mode adds stroke type and serve placement. Advanced mode adds rally context and full serve detail. You pick the mode per match, so basic tracking never gets more complicated.

What stats does CourtTalent track?
